Disciple Program
For youth who have completed 7th grade, maximum of 3 years in program.
Disciples are a vital aspect of the ministry here at Carson-Simpson Farm. Your tasks, no matter how insignificant you may see them, truly contribute to the daily running of the camp program and to the campers' lives. In addition to the Disciple basic contract that you sign, we have identified some specific guidelines designed for this program.

Disciple Guidelines:
- You are to arrive promptly at camp by 9:00 AM everyday. You are to sign in at the registration table and report to the area of your opening program. A parent must sign you out.
- You are to participate fully in the AM and PM worship and singing activities with the campers. You also may be asked to plan, organize and run an activity with the other Disciples.
- You are to assist your assigned staff member in daily responsibilities of:
- supervision of campers
- moving campers
- help with Bible verses
- be in charge of snack time (bringing it to your group, and clean-up)
- lunch procedure (at times sitting with a camper table, helping serve and cleaning up)
- Pool time (monitoring of pool bath- room behavior, playing safely with campers when swimming, using appropriate behavior.)
- You are to participate in all special events or activities.
- You are responsible to follow all the rules and discipline codes of the Camper/Disciple contract.
- At no time should a Disciple be unsupervised or out of site of a Sr. staff member.
- You are to participate fully in the daily Cornerstone meeting. Be prepared with your Bible, notebook or any other materials requested.
- The Disciple program begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM. If you are repeatedly picked up late, you will be asked to pay the extended rate for the week. If there is a need for Extended hours, parents must pay the additional $30.00 fee for AM or PM, $45.00 fee for both, per week.
- Although your position is voluntary, we depend on the commitment you made to the ministry for the time you agreed to. Please plan on fulfilling the full time agreed to unless you are ill. If you are ill, please call and let us know, as we are responsible for you during your time with us. If you consistently do not fulfill your commitment you will be asked to leave the Cornerstone Program with no refund.
- It is a privilege to be a part of the Lord's ministry. If you are accepted as a Disciple, you must commit to at least three (3) full weeks (M-F) of service. Each week your contract will be evaluated by the Program Manager as to whether your contract will be renewed. It is recommended that you not do your three weeks at the end of the summer.
- We expect you to form lasting friendships here at CSF and enjoy the company of your peers. We do however expect you to put the ministry before socializing. At no time will a Disciple be allowed to act in an unbecoming sexual manner. At no time will a Disciple interact in a romantic way with a camper, other Cornerstone Ministry member or Sr. Staff member. Continual flirting and teasing will result in your time with us coming to an abrupt end. There may not be any contact with campers inside or outside of camp that can be interpreted as romantic.
- There is no place for gossip, disrespect or back stabbing. We solve our problems with one another Biblically by always going to the person first.
- We expect you to use all the gifts and talents that God has given you. Don't limit yourself because of what is popular or because your peers limit you or themselves. We expect you to challenge yourself and become all that God intends you to be. Expect an exciting summer and see all that God has in store for you.
Every step in this program is designed to have the youth actively take responsibility for the first call, the application process, and the interview. We will not accept any initial phone calls, email or paperwork that is completed by a parent! Time to take responsibility!
You are our responsibility from the time you arrive at camp until you are picked up. For that reason, you are not permitted to leave camp property. If you violate this rule you will be asked to leave the program.
The cost of the Disciple Program is $95.00 per week
Extended hours are available for $35.00 for AM or PM, $50.00 for both

The program will include Service Projects as a group. This is part of the requirement to be a Disciple. There may also be an optional overnight trip at your cost. The Disciple Program is a 3 year program only.
